Just look at their eyes. Males as kittens do turned to play harder and are much stronger than the females. When these kittens are young, you should avoid using your hands as a toy. They don’t realize how strong they are until they get big, which only takes a few months, and they can actually bite through a finger without really trying to hurt you if they become accustomed to your hands as a toy.

It is always better to use a cat toy of some type to play with the kitten/cat, rather than using your hands. Having said that, I want to emphasize that the ragdoll Breed is a “laid back, non-aggressive breed” that fits in well with the family and gets along well with children and other pets, especially big dogs.

I think these cats must think they are also dogs and are natured in many ways just like a dog. They are highly intelligent and can be trained to do most or any thing a dog can be trained to do. The majority of them can naturally fetch without any training. Although many people teach their cats to walk on a leash, with the exception of a screened-in porch, I recommend keeping them inside the house.
