Gorgeous Ragdolls is a small Ragdoll Cat breeder. All our Ragdoll kittens come with a 100% health guarantee. We breed for personality and health above all else and we have many testimonials as to the wonderful personalities and beautiful coats and eye colors of our Ragdoll kittens. Each Purebred Ragdoll kitten from Gorgeous Ragdolls carries a 3 year genetic health guarantee, unheard of with purebred kittens! We DNA test all our Ragdolls and stand behind our extended health guarantee 100%.
Gorgeous Ragdolls guarantees that your kitten will be free of the Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) at the time of purchase. In addition, the kitten is guaranteed to be healthy and up to date on all vaccinations. A copy of the kitten’s health record will be given to the buyer at the time of purchase. In addition, Gorgeous Ragdolls cannot warranty your kitten against any adverse reactions to future vaccinations.
You will have a 3 business day period to have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian. Before your kitten arrives, it is best to schedule an appointment with a veterinarian in advance. Gorgeous Ragdolls must receive a dated copy of your veterinarian’s health assessment within ten days of receiving your kitten or this guarantee will be null and void. “Gorgeous Ragdolls must receive a written statement identifying the problem from a licensed veterinarian on his or her letterhead within the aforementioned 10 days if the kitten is found to have a serious illness or deformity. The kitten may then be returned to the cattery at the buyer’s expense for one of similar quality. A short or painful lifespan is a result of serious illness. The cost of shipping a new kitten is not the responsibility of Gorgeous Ragdolls.
This guarantee does NOT include minor nuisances such as Upper Respiratory Infections. The stress of moving into a new home can lead to a minor upper respiratory infection, and Gorgeous Ragdolls cannot guarantee that this will not occur. However, as far as we are aware, none of these are present during shipping or delivery. Additionally, prior to being shipped, each air-shipped kitten will receive a veterinary certificate of health from a licensed veterinarian confirming that they are in good health. For the safety of your other pets, you should keep your new kitten in a separate area until checked by your vet.
You are responsible for all vet related expenses once the kitten is released from Gorgeous Ragdolls. This includes initial exam, office visits, lab tests, vaccinations, medications, surgery or time off work. either during the initial visit or at any subsequent ones. No medical care is authorized or will be paid for by Gorgeous Ragdolls. “”If your kitten dies within 3 (three) years of the date of purchase due to hereditary or congenital defects, Gorgeous Ragdolls will replace the cat or kitten with one of similar quality.”” THERE WILL BE NO CASH REFUNDS. To determine if the cat’s death has been caused by a congenital or hereditary defect, Gorgeous Ragdolls must receive proof of the defect in the form of a complete necropsy report, completed by a licensed veterinarian. The necropsy-related expenses are not the responsibility of Gorgeous Ragdolls. If after reviewing the findings it is determined the death was under warranty, a replacement kitten of equal value would be offered as soon as possible. A total of up to 4 kittens will be offered as a replacement for the initial kitten. If the buyer turns down all 4 offers, they forfeit their right to another kitten.
